Westside Medical Family Practice is happy to have our Behavioral Pediatrics clinic run by Dr. Samantha Bostrum, M.D. and Danielle Heaps, PNP. We are here to help your children with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ADD, autism, and other child-related behavior needs.

Dr. Samantha Bostrom is a board certified Pediatrician with many years experience in General Pediatrics and Behavioral Health Pediatrics. She had additional training in Psychiatry and is certified in Pediatric psychopharmacology. She joined West Side Medical in 2007 and continued her practice as a pediatric behavioral specialist. She loves seeing the changes that occur in children's' lives from proper diagnosis, treatment and management of emotional distress or pain. Dr. Bostrom participates in cutting edge research to find new and improved treatments that help children with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and other emotional and behavioral disorders. She has been published as an expert informant and as a lead author on clinical research data. Dr. Bostrom's active research studies allows her to provide the newest evidence based medical options for her patients. Nationally and locally she serves on advisory boards and lectures to professionals in all areas of pediatric behavioral health. She is also involved with many community services and contributes to fundraisers for children with special needs.
Danielle Heaps is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and certified as a pediatric primary care mental health specialist. She has over 20 years experience in pediatrics, including , primary care, complex care, urgent care, ER, and sedation. She specializes in assessing and treating children (ages 2-21 y.o.) suffering from ADHD, anxiety, depression and other emotional and behavioral disorders. She loves working with children and their families to promote the most optimal family, social and school functioning. Danielle has a great interest in humanitarian work and donates time to helping children in Haiti. She is the pediatric director for the organization, "My Aid for Haiti". She has recently joined West Side Medical and is excited to work along with Dr. Bostrom, a pediatric behavioral specialist.
